The Johannesweg offers access to greater humanity over 84 kilometers in three, four, or five-day stages. With 12 stations that invite you to linger and reflect, as well as impressive places of power and scenic viewpoints, this pilgrimage route offers a unique opportunity to enjoy nature and find inner peace.
Over a distance of about 50 kilometers, the Stoakraftweg leads through the Mühlviertel Nature Park, inviting you to explore ravine forests, blooming meadows, and numerous impressive granite formations.
The Weg der Entschleunigung is a long-distance hiking trail that connects the most beautiful energy and power spots in the Bohemian Forest of the Mühlviertel vacation region over a distance of 165 km. Depending on their stamina, hiking enthusiasts can choose between routes of varying lengths—4, 6, or 9 days—with the 9-day route covering a total distance of 165 kilometers.
Along the Granitpilger-Wanderweg, numerous places of power between the rivers and the granite allow pilgrims to feel at ease and recharge their energy. In three to four daily stages, you hike through 10 municipalities over a total distance of about 95 kilometers.
The approximately 60-kilometer-long Kraft-Quelle-Baum-Weg (Power-Source-Tree Trail) is dedicated to the theme of “tree medicine.” Thirty information panels provide insights into the healing power, mythology, and effects of trees.
